A couple of words about this. After I wrote Bumbly Boo, a good internet buddy
of mine "Becky", wrote a rhyme based on it. this inspired me to write the "Humbly
Boo" poem. Included here is all three poems, plus a link to Becky's web page. A
quite remarkable site.
Bumbly Boo
Bumbly Boo
Was one too
He wasn't one of the other
Despite that
He was so fat
Just unlike his mother.
He tried to be
What others see
His coat was all afire
And yet they bet
That he could get
Something warm and dire
Of he swam
Up to the damn
That held the forest high
To get the thing
He had to bring
For others cold and dry
His task was done
In nightfall's sun
The sky was heard to quiver
Back in home
Inside his dome
On warm nights, made him shiver.
So.....
Here's to you
Oh Bumbly Boo
Oh he of rounded face
You are one
Completely done
A muddied man in grace.

Becky's Reply
Oh my Tony, do I have to follow you around everywhere? Tee hee ok here
it goes:
Oh, Bumbly Boo If I were you,
I'd change my name to something more Pleasant,
If instead of Bumbly you pick Bubbly,
Your nature would be more effervescent!
Then you could go 'round all fuzzy and warm
And cuddle and purr sweetly when you get home.

Humbly Boo
Did I tell you the story of Humbly Boo
The Uriah Heep of the clan
He was a nastiest piece of work
Since the time when Boo souls began
He found a small spider and pulled of its legs
He did this while out on parole
He then put in, the old kitchen sink
And rolled it right down the plug hole.
He'd hide his bad side to make out he's good
A Boo on a holy crusade!
The miss Boo's they loved him, because of his charm
But soon all the miss's were kissed.
But one day it's told, when Humbly was cold.
He looked back on life with a sigh
If only he'd taken his mother's advice
And learned that the end sure was nigh
Before him now stood, a man in a hood
A sight which now filled him with dread
For there was the axe that many had felt
On their necks, just before they were dead.
So endeth the story of Humbly Boo
A villain right to the end
Justice was done, to the Humbly One
Who drove everyone quite round the bend!
