a place so fine
And lives at the end of the Central Line
A line of power, a line of dread!
A line that on the map, is red
The glory, that is all but seen
Is shared, with patience, with the green
This is the way! it's all but licked!
The line that is the out-town district
Red and green go side by side
To the place that's fat and wide
For Ealing trains by night and day
Are terminated, at the wide Broadway.
All is good!, Oh Ealing hail
You're also shared with British Rail
So many ways to suburb's air
